The secrets of kimono clothing

Kimono have existed for centuries, but have recently been becoming more popular. Haori are worn mostly as jackets, with a loose fit and are long enough to cover the hips. It's believed that today's kimono was created in the Edo Period (1603 – 1868). Compared to traditional haori, kimono were simpler and easier to wear, which made them an ideal choice for the busy merchants and craftsmen who lived in Edo at this time.

Kimono are a fantastic garment to wear that are stylish and functional. A jacket that falls just below the knee can be worn with traditional clothing such as haori or yukata, while a longer kimono looks great with a pair of jeans, tights, and over-the-knee socks. For any occasion involving more formal wear, kimono can be paired with a simple tank top or camisole underneath for a polished yet stylish look.
